The first indication was Hillary Clinton’s low poll numbers among blacks throughout the presidential campaign, the lowest of any Democratic presidential candidate in decades.
Analysts and political operatives have offered a variety of reasons for the sizable decline in Democrat support from black voters, including Clinton’s inability to ‘energize’ her base, a lacking articulation of a clear message directed at African-American voters, and her general absence from rigorous campaigning in predominantly black areas.

But there are other, more specific and damaging factors that also came into play at the polls, many of them economic.
A Clinton presidency was essentially viewed as a third term of Barack Obama, under whom black unemployment has risen to double that of whites, black home ownership has declined, and violent crime rates in cities like Chicago and Detroit are exploding.
Donald Trump won the state of Wisconsin – a feat that was considered so unlikely, Clinton abandoned campaigning there. Recent statistics reflect that Wisconsin’s black unemployment rate of 20% is nearly twice the national average and the worst in the nation.
Despite appearances and support from big-name black celebrities like Lebron James, Beyonce, and Jay-Z, Clinton’s rallies were dwarfed by Trump’s.
In the wake of the election, some prominent African-Americans are calling on fellow blacks to leave the Democrat plantation, and give Trump a fair opportunity to prove himself as a qualified leader.
BET founder, Bob Johnson, met with Trump this past weekend, and stated in a follow-up interview on CNBC, “Let’s give him a shot. Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt; see if we can find common ground… That’s what’s best for African-Americans.”
Rapper Kanye West interrupted a performance in San Jose, CA, to launch into a lengthy political tirade, proclaiming, “It’s a new world, Hillary Clinton, it’s a new world.”
“If I were to vote, I would have voted for Trump,” he added, to the shock of many attendees.
Republicans now control the White House, Senate, House of Representatives, 33 governorships, and more than two-thirds of state legislatures.
Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) recently warned his own party of their emergency status.
“I’m pulling the fire alarm, because the house is burning down, and we better get our act together or we’re going to cease being a national party. We’re going to be a regional party that fails to get into the majority, and fails to do things on behalf of those working class people that were the backbone of the Democratic Party for so long.”
We are witnessing a collapsing Democratic Party that may well be on the verge of extinction.

  1. I hope and pray that the African-Americans in urban American can get the relief they need to prosper with good paying jobs, superior education and all the equal opportunities available to live happy lives in America.

  2. Amen to that. The African-American communities need a great deal of security and upgrade of the blighted areas. Decent stores and Schools etc. All this brings decent jobs for a 2 income household which is a must today. Families can be families again. I was born in Chicago and am so sad to see the Disregard for these peoples lives. Rob Emanuel wants illegals when the U.S. citizens are forgotten.

  3. Think, people, think! What indication, other than his statement, is there that Trump will do as he says? More usually than not, what Trump says one say is different from what he says the next day. During the campaign, he made numerous statements that he didn’t follow up on. You think saved any jobs? Really? He made a costly deal with Carrier – costing taxpayers more than those jobs are worth. With the car company, where a decision was made not to transfer the factory to Mexico, Trump claimed credit for “saving” those jobs, when the decision was made long before Trump, and he had absolutely nothing to do with it. In other words, the man will say anything. He’s playing you. He’s a liar, to a far greater degree than other politicians.

    1. I realize the Carrier deal cost money, but he had to set a precedent somewhere, puttibg the American People first. I vied for Trunp for many reasons. Islam wants to take over this country. They are only peaceful when you agree with them. I don’t. I’m a Christian & tired of feeling that my right to worship freely is going away. It’s time for the US to take care of its iwn, regardless of color. The black community has been failed by Obama as he’s bright more and more Muslims into the US to take over jobs, leadership roles and to one day take over our country. MAKE NO MISTAKE! OBAMA HAS BEEN PART OF THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD PLAN TO OVER TAKE THIS COUNTRY. it’s time we Americans took it back! To end the Clinton & obama regime has taken alot of events to over come the wrongs it has brought upon us as a nation. This new leadership isn’t in because of a fluke! Give Trunp the chance he deserves instead of being negative .
